Learn to Code to Win the Challenge!
Who can participate?
The challenge is open to students in middle school and high school at the time of application closing date. Students participate in the challenge individually, and may submit only one application.
I am new to coding. Can I still participate?
Absolutely! It is a great opportunity to start learning coding. The Novice section of Code2Win challenge is designed exclusively for students who are new to coding.
What to submit?
Students may submit a web application or mobile application. You may use the programming language of your choice to write the code. Your submission includes your code, and a 1-2 page write-up that describes your solution, the challenges that you faced, and how you overcame the challenges. You may participate in one of the following catergories -
Interactive Game: Engaging game that provides an interface for users to provide inputs and responds to user inputs for an interactive and fun gaming experience.
Model Save Earth: Create a model that captures various aspects of our day-to-day behavior as they relate to sustainable living. Then ask users for inputs on their behavior along these lines. Output user's current standing on save earth scale and propose recommendations for a more sustainable living.
Code your passion: Use your computational thinking to write a program to solve a problem that you are passionate about.
